Ok so the 13.5 hour flight from Sydney to Joburg wasn't bad. Watched around 4 movies (The Hangover 2, Kung Fu Panda 2, Friends with Benefits, Captain America); tried sleeping; watched a documentary on Donald Trump; tried sleeping again; couldn't really get out of my seat and take a walk coz of an elderly lady who was sitting on the isle side. So taking ALL of this into account (and yes the movies were useless), fml.
Lesson learnt: Never get the window seats. You can't see jack *$(%.
Anyways, we're sitting at the gate at Joburg airport, and waiting to board the bus to the flight. So I walk to the bathroom to wash my face, and there's the cleaner waiting by the door. Let me type out in a conversation mode what goes down next. BTW he is smiling the whole time.
(He greets me with a smile, and as he sees me going to the tap)
"How are you sir? Just go to the tap"
(As I put some facial scrub in my hands)
"Oh yes please put some soap Sir"
(As I go to dry my hands)
"Yes sir please dry your hands"
(As I'm leaving)
"Sir thank you for drying your hands. If you have any coins?"
I love this dude ae. I was cracking up, but told him I didn't have any coins. As I walked off, I thought 'man this guy is the most happiest dude on Earth'. So instead I took a picture with him.

Ten hours till boarding
What's up people,
So it's been a ten year wait, and now my brother and I are off to our roots.
Zimbabwe, not a place close to my heart, but my heart entirely.
Now since I am going back to Africa, which in my opinion is heaven on Earth, I'm gonna be blogging about my experiences over the course of the next two months. If you know me, you'll know that I find theatrics in the simple experiences of life, and something tells me that this trip will be an eye-opening; head-boggling inception mind-explosion experience, and I want to share this with you all. But hey, I am a joker, so you're also gonna be in for the silly/crazy/fobby things that I spontaneously do.
So watch this space, and I'll keep it updated with my Facebook account as well. Feel free to comment.
